Putting on a wig takes you from YOU to anybody else. For a production, the wigs are a finishing touch that can make all the difference. I love helping create that difference. I love everything about wigs – from ventilating individual strands of hair to styling a full wig to helping an actor into their final look. Wigs have so much freedom. There are so many different ways to make and style wigs. Finding and learning new information about wigs is one of my greatest hobbies, including watching and learning from others in this amazing profession.
Growing up in my family of 8 was a unique experience, to say the least. I take great pride in being a Lee. We grew up doing theatre; it is literally in my blood. Everyone in my family has done theatre, and three of us participate in theatre professionally in some capacity or another. I have always loved two things: theatre and doing hair. I am a licensed cosmetologist, and in 2022, I stumbled upon the wig world. My life was changed forever. I am so grateful to find a profession that combines my two favorite things.
